Curriculum

Summary

This is a preparatory course for students who are going to enter Kyung Hee University for undergraduate or graduate level. Foreign students are offered not only Korean language classes but also preparatory courses (including basic majoring course, studying method, essay writing method and computer) in order to help them achieve good results after enrolling in Kyung Hee University.

Curriculum

  • Korean classes are conducted as same as the ones of the regular Korean language course (5 days per week/ 4 hours per day).
  • In addition, 4 additional courses are taught in order to provide students with necessary knowledge and skills before enrolling in undergraduate or graduate level at Kyung Hee University. Four courses are conducted in succession in 2 semesters (20 weeks), each course is taught in 5 weeks/ 3 hours per week.
  • ① Basic major course – Learn the basic concepts of chosen major.
    ② Studying method – Learn the necessary skills in the class like discussion and presentation, etc …
    ③ Essay writing method – Learn how to select topics for report writing, to draw a table of contents, to use statistics and to develop contents.
    ④ Computer – Learn how to use Hangeul, PowerPoint, Excel, etc …
  • Cultural experiencing program is conducted every semester to broaden foreign students’ knowledge of Korean culture.
  • After completing the course, students will receive a recommendation letter from the Director of KLA, which will be of a great help when the students apply for the undergraduate or graduate program at Kyung Hee University.
  • * Available majors: business administration, hotel and tourism management, journalism and communication, family and children, fashion, others.
